06/20/2009 - Omaha Pro Select Training and Tournament - Week 2 Robert continues to show as a two-way player on the mound and at 3B but projects better the mound where he has really improved his abilities. Arm strength has improved now showing near above average as indicated by his top velocity of 84 mph with a comfort zone of 81 mph. Fastball shows tailing action on a strong downhill plane creating tough angles on hitters. Breaking ball has improved displaying an 11/5 shape, tight spin with late sharp action. Arm action is loose and effortless through a fluid delivery. He attacks hitters and throws strikes with all his pitches, missing a lot of bats. Defensive abilities have improved, but Colton needs to concentrate his work ethic on the mound where his future lies. Now a class 5 pitcher, Robert has potential and will catch the eyes of the collegiate coaches as he continues to improve.
