04/22/2012 - College PREP - Philadelphia, PA Robert is an athletic, 2-way player who plays OF and catcher. In the OF, Robert has quick / fluid feet, soft hands, and he takes good angles to the ball. He fields athletically, on the glove side, and throws with a long / loose arm with accuracy and carry to his target. Catching the ball at its highest point and not flying open when throwing can help improve solid defensive grades. Behind the plate, Robert has quick / active feet, a low / athletic set-up, and soft / sure hands. He frames well, holds a low target, and gains ground when blocking. Robert has a short / loose arm with carry and accuracy to 2nd base. More glove extension can only help catching grades get better. At the plate, Robert has a square / athletic set-up, a short stride, and good balance. He has good bat speed, he makes hard contact, and he is short and level to the ball. Better barrel accuracy and improved rhythm / timing can help offensive numbers improve.
