08/01/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (HS) Rolando is a coachable OF/2B prospect who showed well during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the outfield, he starts in an athletic/relaxed position, with active/efficient footwork, and ability to work behind/through the baseball. Is agile moving to the ball with good 1st step reads. He fields from athletic position and creates momentum to his target. Accurate throws into infield, with good carry, and arm velocity up to 83mph. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and even stance with a high hand set. Shows some quickness to his hands, with good balance at contact, and an explosive hip turn. Gets on-plane early and keeps barrel in hitting zone for a long time. Showed a fast bat as he hit balls into both gaps with a bat exit velocity up to 82mph. During the games, Rolando reached base 5 times with a double, a single, 2 walks, and a hit by pitch. With continued development, we foresee him having a bright future on the baseball field.
