Roman stays in line with home plate and can benefit from a longer stride. He finishes with an upright chest. Roman shows late movement on his fastball and a sharp breaking curveball. As a left-handed hitter, Roman has an open setup with a firm front side. He has comfortable hands with a small load and short stride. Roman has fast bat speed good strength behind his barrel. He is a contact type hitter who has a line drive approach. In the field, Roman has an athletic ready position and moves with quick, effective footwork. He has a good first step and moves with agile actions covering good ground. He fields the ball in a high position with deep hands. Roman throws from a 3/4 arm slot. His throws are accurate with strong carry. Overall, Roman has the raw tools and approach to continue to elevate his game.
