11/03/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Tampa, FL Roman is a young, 2-way player who catches and plays 3rd base. At 3B, Roman covers ground well and gets into a good fielding position. He shows some range, fields squarely, and throws with accuracy from a high 3/4 arm slot across the diamond. Behind the plate, Roman has firm hands, he sits in well, and tracks to his glove. He has a clean exchange and throws with pop times as low as 3.6 seconds to 2nd base. Offensively, Roman has an open stance, he loads his hands well, and stands in with balance. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
