01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (TX) Ryan is a tall/projectable (6'3"/205) RHP/OF who showed his versatility at the Pre-Season All-America Tournament. On the bump, this righty works tall utilizing his frame and drives on a downhill plane. Separation is smooth as his arm works free/easy. He attacks hitters and looks to get ahead in the count. FB ranges from 80-83 mph while showing good tailing action. He commands it well and can hit his spots. Curveball has 11/5 shape with good depth showing to be a solid 'K' pitch. Changeup is thrown with FB arm speed and has some arm side run, complimenting his FB well. In the OF, Berry takes solid routes right and left to track down fly-balls. He works behind and through the ball, securing it with soft hands and firing accurately into his target. Offensively, this lefty shows an athletic setup with active hands to load. He fires the barrel on a direct path and connects with strength, driving the ball from gap-to-gap (exit velo = 95 mph). Berry is a talented 2-way prospect who has the tools to make an impact in many ways on the diamond.
