07/24/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Ryan is entering his 8th grade year with consistent fundamentals on both sides of the baseball. Defensively, he worked his body to a good fielding position with his hands in front. His glove plays soft/sure and he stays low through the ball. Improving his first step quickness, and becoming more aggressive to come get the ball will help him secure his hops. With the stick, he was quick to the baseball and used the opposite field well, allowing the ball to travel. Ryan worked to add more lower half drive with hand/hip coordination and with added reps will be able to translate practice to game. In all - Ryan is a max effort type of player that is always working hard and making those around him better.
