12/03/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Pensacola, FL Ryan is a (2024 grad) OF. Defensively in the OF, he hustles hard laterally as he tracks down hard-hit fly balls. He tries to work behind the ball and makes aggressive throws to his target. With the stick, this RHH shows a balanced setup. He rips his lower 1/2, swings on-plane through the zone and consistently sprays pitches to all parts of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
