01/17/2020 - 2020 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Ryan is a coachable SS/RHP prospect who showed well during the All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament. In the field, Ryan takes a good first step and shows quick footwork. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. He gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them accurate and strong through his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride. He is on time getting into a smooth rhythm and drives through well with his lower half. He takes a level swing with decent bat speed, leading to consistent contact. On the mound, Ryan separates his hands on time and works with a clean arm. He stays inline towards the plate and finishes with his chest over his front knee. Ryan shows a two pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 76mph. Breaking ball sits at 70mph with 11-5 break. Overall, Ryan is a talented prospect who should find success going into his freshman season.
