Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date, now a 7.25 runner. Behind the plate, feet are active as he works in line through a clean transfer / exchange as he gets rid of the baseball through a quick release. Pop times have improved as he threw his lowest time to date at 2.05 with accuracy on his throws. Times will continue to drop as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. He shows a squared setup and presents a soft mitt out front and utilizes his body through the blocking process, centering balls out front. At the plate, hitting / power potential has improved through a crouched setup. Hands are quick (84 mph exit velocity) and work through level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact and stays inside the ball through a line drive approach, flashing gap to gap pop. Power will continue to increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.
