09/20/2015 - College PREP - Woodbridge (DC), VA Ryan continues to work hard on his skills. Defensively in the MIF, he shows quick/active prep footwork and moves well on the balls of his feet. He presents his glove and fields the GB out in front. He funnels smoothly and has a clean exchange to throw. With the bat, Ryan shows fluid rhythm to load and waits for his pitch. He hits the ball where it's pitched, squares the ball up, and sprays it to all parts of the field. Krueger is a solid all-around athlete who should find success in this his senior year.

08/03/2015 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 Ryan is a 6'/160 lbs 2B with present athleticism and consistent play ability - offensively & defensively. At 2B, he attacks ground balls to make plays, getting to his fielding position on-time. He was sure with his glove, worked around the baseball well, and fed double play balls accurately. Ryan showed good arm whip and carry, presently, and worked on becoming more fluid/rhythmic to play through the ball. Offensively, he was balanced throughout his swing and coordinated with his hands/hips to get the barrel through the zone. He hit against a stiff front side for good leverage and drove the baseball to all fields. All in all - Ryan is an intriguing ball player that has fundamental strengths to add strength to this off-season for his senior spring.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
