01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Ryan displayed consistency in his tools at the UAPSAA with Baseball Factory. He presents his glove and fields the ball squarely with a clean exchange. Ryan has a quick arm action throwing from a high 3/4 slot. He throws are consistently online. Overall, Ryan has a solid skill set and the athleticism to continue to get even better.

06/05/2016 - College PREP - River Forest (Chicago), IL Ryan is a young, very athletic 2018 Outfielder. A gifted athlete and defensive player, he has a low approach in the OF, a quick first step, plus range and attacks the ball with great angles. He throws downhill with momentum and has a strong, accurate arm. His body control is a strength of his defensively. At the plate, Ryan continues to show his athleticism and quickness. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
