01/18/2019 - 2019 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament
Ryan is a tall RHP prospect who showcased his skills at the Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament. On the mound, Ryan starts with a simple rock step and gathers to a balance point over the rubber. He is fluid separating his hands and works with a loose arm, staying inline towards the plate. Ryan shows a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 87mph with good arm side run. Slider sits from 73-74mph with sharp 10-4 break. Changeup sits from 63-65mph with good sinking action. Ryan pounds the zone with all of his pitches, producing 10 K's during his outing. Overall, Ryan is a talented prospect who will be one to follow going into his junior season.
