11/07/2015 - 2015 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures Texas Ryan is already a polished, proven player at a young age. He is a legitimate 2-way prospect who plays SS and is a RHP. At UA Futures Texas he worked out and played exclusively in the infield. He was impressive throughout, once again showing his quick, easy stroke that leads to hard contact and big pull power. He lets the ball travel and then explodes through the ball in an approach usually seen from higher level, more experienced players. He is both a confident hitter and infielder. In the field Ryan has efficient feet and soft sure hands with the instincts and anticipation to make plays to either side. He has plenty of arm strength, though he prefers to go sidearm across the diamond on routine plays resulting in tail to his throws. Ryan is a top prospect in the 2017 class who warrants following. He is a dependable defender who will hit in the middle of the order - an exciting combination.
