10/22/2017 - College PREP - Potomac, MD Sajon continues to shine on the diamond. With the bat, this strong righty stands in with a balanced setup with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack, squares the ball up and drives it to the gaps with pop. The ball jumps off of his barrel when centered as he shows the ability to drive in runs. In the OF, he works lightly on the balls of his feet and covers ground with speed. He works behind and through the ball, gaining ground towards his target and firing throws on a line. This 2019 OF prospect is fun to watch and should get a ton of looks to take his game to the next level.

01/15/2016 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Sajon continues to not only show he is a talented athlete, he has a presence that other players gravitate to.  He is the type of players that coaches can look to lead a team. Belser recorded the top 60-time at this event running a 6.9. His ability to run and cover ground in the outfield makes him an interesting 2019 to follow. Sajon also displays good carry with on line throws to his target. At the plate, his approach is disciplined with a quiet load and body control. He has the ability to control the barrell and use all fields. Sajon has shown improvement each year we have seen him. He will be a player to watch as he continues to physically mature.

01/16/2015 - Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Belser continues to let his athleticism shine. In the OF, he covers a ton of ground with speed working light on his feet. He has smooth actions, gathers well and plays through the ball toward his target. He is advanced for his age and has the making to be very special in the outfield. With the bat, this righty has a simple approach with good balance. Hands are quick whipping the barrel through the zone as he utilizes his lower 1/2 to generate torque. He puts the barrel on the ball and hustles down the line, putting pressure on the defense. Sajon is a talented OF who has a ton of upside with a very bright future in the game. Only in 8th grade now, the sky is the limit for him.

12/27/2014 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 Sajon is an athletic OF with a lot of upside. In the OF he has quick feet, good body control, and gets good jumps off the bat. He takes the proper routes / angles and covers a lot of ground. He has a quick exchange and is accurate showing good carry with his throws. At the plate he has an athletic stance, smooth load, and strong balance. He has a nice rhythm and excellent bat speed for his age. He keeps his head still and has a quiet approach allowing him to stay on the ball a long time and hit solid line drives. With his athleticism and knowledge of the game, Sajon shows a ton of potential and will be fun to watch.

05/11/2014 - Interactive Video Program - Ashland, VA Sajon is a very talented athlete in the OF. Defensively, he has quick footwork that rivals players years older than him (7.07 60 yard dash) and has an aggressive approach to get into position. He takes good routes/angles and gets behind the fly-ball. He has a clean exchange and delivers accurate throws into his target. At the plate, this RH swinger shows a well balanced approach with rhythm. He hits the ball where its pitched and drives it to all parts of the field. Sajon can make improvements to his game with work on the following.

Defense
1. Avoid drifting to the ball
2. Exchange
3. Arm strength
Offense
1. More lower 1/2
2. Extension through contact

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
