07/20/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Trenton, NJ Saujan is a SS/RHP in the class of 2023. In the field, he shows active feet and good pre-pitch actions. Does a good job gaining ground on the baseball and fields from a low/square fielding position. Creates momentum to throw and shows off a clean/fluid arm action. At the plate, he starts in a tall/open stance and strides to a square position. Shows smoothness and balance throughout his swing. Does a good job getting his hands extended out front and through the baseball. On the mound, he delivers all pitches from a high ¾ arm slot. Shows a clean arm action and repeatable mechanics. Fastball has tailing action and works up to 74 MPH. Breaking ball is a 11-5 shape that is thrown with good arm speed. Saujan is a good player that has 1 more year of high school to continue to develop.

07/21/2019 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Saujan is an athletic and talented 2023 2-way prospect that worked hard all week. At SS, Saujan is on time with his prep step, he presents a low/early glove, and works through the ball. He has good actions to the ball and makes the routine play. He works off the bag well on double plays and has a quick release. At the plate, Saujan starts in an open stance, he loads his hands back, and is aggressive on fastballs. He tends to pull off the ball and consistently roll balls over to the pull side. Getting to balance with his lower half and keeping the barrel inside the ball can help him to have a more middle approach. On the bump, Saujan has run on his fastball, he has a hard changeup, and spins the breaking ball well. He needs to find a good balance point, separate on time, and work downhill. Saujan has a great attitude, he was eager to learn, and he continue to improve each event we seem him.

12/27/2018 - Baseball Factory Winter Classic - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Saujan is an athletic and talented 2023 2-way prospect that was eager to learn. At SS, Saujan has a good first step to the ball, fields the ball in an athletic position, and makes accurate throws. He needs to continue to be on time with his prep step, anticipate the ball off the bat, and throw from multiple arm angles. At the plate, Saujan starts in an athletic position, attacks the ball with his lower half, and show the ability to hit with pull side lift. Continuing to load his hands back into the drive position and get his foot down on time will allow him to catch up to the fastball more consistent. He should good pitch recognition with to walk and by hitting the ball to all fields. Saujan will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

07/17/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Trenton, NJ Saujan is a thin, 2-way player who plays SS and RHP. Defensively, Saujan has firm/presentable hands, he moves well to the ball, and he keeps it in front of his body. He makes plays on balls hit his way, he has a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy from a loose arm to his target. On the mound, Saujan keeps his eyes on target, he has a compact delivery, and good glove-side lead. He separates on time, has a controlled landing toward home, and finishes completely. Offensively, Saujan has a square set-up, good balance, and he swings aggressively. He swings on plane, makes square contact, and has pop in his bat. Saujan can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Defense
1. Release
2. Footwork
3. Fielding position
Pitching
1. Long toss
2. CB
3.Balance point
Offense
1. Lower body
2. Finish

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
