06/05/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Sean is an athletic and talented 2021 SS prospect. At SS, Sean is on time with his prep step, he has a quick first step, and good actions to the ball. He presents a low/early glove, works from the ground up, and makes the routine play. He has good feeds, a clean exchange, and throws from multiple arm angles on double play balls. At the plate, Sean consistently squares the ball up and makes contact to all fields. He has a simple swing and a middle approach. His hands and hips work well together and he battles every at bat. Sean will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
