02/28/2021 - National Evaluation and Tryout - Davie, FL Sean continues to show as a prospect on the diamond. At the plate is where he shows best, displaying excellent hitting abilities with pro level power potential through an open setup. He stands in with a solid/strong base and has fluid rhythm to load. Barrel delivery is short/quick with aggression (94 mph exit velocity) as he connects with gap to gap pop. At 1B, defensive abilities are solid as he displays smooth, athletic actions. Feet are active as he displays proper foot work around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is soft / sure and he consistently showed the ability to pick balls out of the dirt. He moves well laterally with range improving as he increases foot quickness. Throws are accurate with carry to his target.

11/07/2020 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Pompano Beach, FL Sean is a strong 3B prospect who can really swing it. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through a square setup. He is smooth to load and hits against a strong front side. He stays direct through the ball with fast bat speed, leading to strong line drives and gap to gap power. In the field, Sean shows efficient footwork and attacks the ball aggressively. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gets rid of the ball quickly, making consistent throws with carry through his target. Overall, Sean is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
