Sean is a RHH backstop who has a projectable build (5'11"/165). Defensively behind the dish, he sits in well with athletic actions and flexion. He works quickly laterally and bodies up pitches in the dirt. Throws down to 2B are accurate coming from a clean transfer/exchange as he gains ground toward his target (pop times of 2.69). Quickening his release will help to lower pop times. As a hitter - Sean shows a square setup with centered balance. He waits for hit pitch, swings on a level path and connects, driving the middle of the field. Getting back into a loaded position sooner and utilizing more of his lower 1/2 throughout the swing will result in increased pop. Only a 2018 grad - Sean has skills with still time to develop.
