09/26/2015 - 2015 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures West Ross stands a broad shouldered 6-foot and 180 pounds, and ran 6.93 in the 60 yard dash. He featured standout bat speed and a loose, strong right-handed stroke. He drove the ball with authority to center and right-center fields in BP, and made confident game swings against quality stuff in live game at bats. Defensively, he showed big arm strength with defensive actions that seem well suited for either corner OF position. On the mound, he threw his fastball in the 88-89 mph range with late arm side life. His breaking ball had the best action when it was thrown in the mid 70s, where it has potential as a quality second pitch. He has the arm strength and athletic ability to offer legitimate two-way ability, with more value as a position player at this point.
