01/13/2017 - Baseball Factory National Spring Training at Pirate City Sebastian is a long, projectable prospect at RHP/SS who is a true gamer and works hard every time he's on the field. His control on the mound is very impressive, as he works in/out and up/down to hitters with ease, staying on the corners and away from hard contact with all of his pitches. His delivery is clean and repeatable, getting to a good balance point and working in line to the plate with an on time separation and his eyes locked on the target. He features a three pitch mix including a fastball in the low 70's, an 11-5 curveball and a deceptive changeup with sink. At short, he presents his glove out front to dictate hops and field the ball cleanly. His hands work well to exchange and release to get rid of the ball on time and make accurate throws to his target. At the dish, he tracks the ball well with a good feel for the strike zone and a patient approach, looking for his pitch to hit. His swing is smooth and balanced and he shows the ability to make consistent contact and put the ball in play form gap to gap. Shortening his swing path will lead to more hard contact and extra base hits moving forward. Sebastian is an interesting prospect with lots of potential on the baseball field.
