11/18/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Fall Prospects Tournament (HS) Sebastian is a 2025 RHP/SS who showcased his skills during the Fall Prospects Tournament. At SS, he creates good fielding angles, with quick/active footwork, and fields from an athletic fielding position. Good first step reads enable him close distance on batted balls. Showed good hands as he fields out front and has good glove actions. Made accurate throws across the diamond from a high 3/4 arm slot, with good carry, and an arm velocity up to 71mph. On the mound, he works exclusively from the stretch. He gathers over the rubber, with a good rear hip coil, and works with good direction down the mound. Attacks hitters with a FB topping out at 73mph, and an 12/6 shaped breaking ball. At the plate, he sets up in an athletic and even stance. Does a good job of rotating his lower half to contact point and showed good bat to ball skills. Hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 78mph during his round of BP. At the event, he reached base 3 times with a single and 2 base on balls. Overall, Sebastian is a good player who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

07/10/2022 - Cape Cod Select Training & Competition (HS) Sebastian is a 2025 SS/RHP who worked hard during the Cape Cod Training and Competition. In the field, he starts on the balls of his feet with ability to finish plays. He works from right to left as he centers the baseball and fields from a square fielding position. He keeps his feet and body moving through the fielding process as he made accurate throws to first base with an arm velocity up to 71mph. At the plate, he hits from an athletic and even stance. He keeps his weight between his knees and rotates his lower half to contact point. During his round of BP, he showed ability to make contact to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 75mph. On the mound, he starts with a small rocker step and works with good direction down the mound. He attacks hitters with a fastball topping out at 66mph with some tailing action, and a 12/6 shaped breaking ball with plus command. Overall, Sebastian is a young/developing player who has the skillsets to further develop on the baseball field.

11/07/2021 - All-In Membership - Gambrills, MD Sebastian is a 2025 MIF prospect out of Maryland. Defensively, he displayed to cover ground and make the routine play as well as some tough backhand plays. His throws were accurate to first base but could benefit from a long toss program to develop the carry through the first basemen. Offensively, he had an athletic set up with a flat bat path that created consistent contact and good extension through the baseball. With 2+ years of development, Sebastian will improve his game and we are excited to see his numbers jump at a future event.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
