01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (TX) Seth is an athletic/projectable (6'1"/175) MIF who can swing it with power. Offensively, this RHH steps into the box with a purpose. He shows an athletic/balanced setup with simple/quiet actions. Quick hands fire the barrel on a short/direct path with + bat speed as he connects and squares the ball up consistently with pop (exit velocity = 91 mph). Once on base he remains aggressive, getting good jumps off of the pitchers and always looking to advance. Defensively, he has active footwork and moves smoothly right to left in his approach to the GB. He picks out the hops and gets the ball from glove to throwing hand quickly, firing strong/accurate throws to 1B. Cooper (2022 grad) has upside with the tools that will play at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
