09/17/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Indianapolis, IN Seth is a C/OF who will graduate in 2023. Defensively behind the plate, he shows a solid setup/stance and receives pitches well. He has a quick exchange and fires the ball down to 2B with a quick release. In the OF, he takes a quick 1st step as he tracks down fly balls. He catches the ball, sets his feet and tries to play through the ball towards his target. At the plate, Seth displays a square setup. He tracks pitches well into the zone and looks to drive the ball back up through the middle of the field. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
