12/27/2012 - Pirate City Christmas Camp and Tournament In Skylor's most recent Factory outing he showed as a third basemen and a RHP. At third, he made routine plays and used his feet well on his throws. His hands were effective and he worked low to high. At the dish, he uses the whole field well, is patient, and has good strike zone discipline. Finding a more consistent launch position with some more knee bend will help with his overall rhythm and fluidity in his swing. On the mound, he throws two pitches for strikes with his fastball topping off at 79 MPH. His 11/5 curve-ball has late/sharp action and is consistent around the plate. Overall, Skylor projects best on the mound, with an ability to efficiently play third and hit for average.
