09/22/2019 - National Tryout Plus - Beverly Hills (Detroit), MI Solomon is a talented athlete who is fun to watch. He has plus lateral range and makes the tough plays in the hole and to his glove-side with ease. In the OF, he has game changing speed (6.65 60 time) as he covers a lot of ground and does not let many balls in the air land. He works to get behind balls and plays through with momentum to his target. At the plate, this righty stands in well with fluid rhythm. Quick hands whip the barrel to and through the contact point as he extends through and drives the ball to all parts of the park. A special player, Solomon has the ability to make things happen both offensively and defensively.

12/20/2018 - Baseball Factory Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City - Session 1 (Ages 14-18) Solomon is a coachable SS prospect who worked hard on his skills during his time at the Christmas Camp & Tournament at Pirate City. In the field, Solomon shows active footwork and flashes good lateral range. He gets into a square position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He makes a two-handed exchange and keeps his throws accurate across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a controlled stride. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
