10/13/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Baltimore, MD Solomon is a tall, thin, 2-way player who plays OF and RHP. Defensively, Solomon has active feet, soft hands, and he works behind fly balls properly. He centers well on his body, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy and momentum to his cut off man. On the mound, Solomon has a clean arm circle, he works on a downhill plane, and he gets good extension on his pitches. He competes in the zone and mixes in his off-speed pitches well. At the plate, Solomon has a square/athletic stance, good balance, and he takes a square stride toward the pitcher. He has pop to the pull side and he uses some lower body. Solomon can improve overall skills with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
