06/25/2016 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 Stacey is an athletic 2-way player who shined during his time at the Omaha National World Series. He plays the game hard and has an advanced skill-set that will play at the next level. With the bat, this righty shows a balanced setup with rhythm to load. Quick hands whip the barrel with speed as he jumps on pitches early in the count. The ball explodes off of his barrel (exit velocity = 93 mph) as he drives the ball to the deep parts of the park (hitting a home-run at the event). Once on base he's a threat to steal with his tremendous speed (6.88). At 3B - Bailey has quick/athletic actions working from right to left around the GB. He presents and fields the ball out in front with soft hands. Throws are strong with zip to 1B. On the mound, this RHP maintains fluid rhythm and works to a controlled balance point with level shoulders. FB tops out at 81 mph as he pounds the zone with strikes. Changeup shows sink and gets GB outs. Continuing to develop his off-speed (CB & CH) will help to improve overall effectiveness on the mound. Stacey is a skilled prospect who is one to keep an eye on over the next couple of years.
