01/11/2008 - Under Armour Pre-Season All-America - 2008 Steve is a good player who brings hustle and knowledge to the field everyday. At 2B, has a good approach with rhythem when making plays. Was able to move well laterally with a quick exchange. Was exceptional with the backhand. At the plate, was fundamentally sound with a good approach and not afraid to bunt the ball for hit. Had a quick bat and let the ball travel. Was able to hit ball where it was pitch. Overall strength will help improve all aspects fo his game.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
