10/27/2019 - College PREP - Corpus Christi, TX Taha is a solid, 2-way player who catches and pitches. Behind the plate, Taha has active feet, good size, and he sticks the ball well. He centers properly on his body, deadens softly when blocking, and throws with momentum and strength from a short arm action to 2nd base. A more square stance, added range, and work on accuracy will help catching skills get better. On the mound, Taha has good balance, a clean arm circle, and he repeats his delivery well. He separates his hands on time, he gets good extension, and finishes in a complete position. Added feel for off-speed and continuing to add arm strength will help mound effectiveness improve. At the plate, Taha has a tall/open stance, a short/square stride, and good balance. He has fast bat speed, makes hard/square contact, and he uses his lower body well. If Taha can keep his head on the ball longer, and get more extension through to his finish, solid hitting can get even better.
