05/26/2012 - Little League® Experience Tanner is 2019 graduate who plays C and INF. His arm strength is below average so it will really benefit him to get on a long toss program. This will also improve his transfer/accuracy and make him a better overall thrower. Behind the plate Tanner needs to focus his efforts into polishing his overall technique and athleticism. Working the agility drills will help him greatly with his footwork and athleticism. This will help him in all areas of the game. As an infielder Tanner showed some good things but he needs to be more aggressive and trust himself. At the plate he displayed a balanced setup, decent bat speed and a hands back load. He needs to stride directly at the pitcher and keep his weight balanced. If he can make these small adjustments he will see improvement. Tanner is a very good kid who seems to enjoy playing the game. As he matures he will naturally become more athletic but he needs to work hard in that area and on his fundamentals.
