10/30/2011 - Interactive Video Program - Salem, OR Tanner is a young, thick, 2-way player who pitches and plays SS. On the mound, Tanner has a loose arm action, a controlled balance point, and smooth separation. He works in good rhythm, he keeps his shoulders level, and he has good direction toward home. Tanner attacks the zone and his arm shows to be somewhat explosive. In the INF, Tanner has sure hands, playable feet, and he centers the ball well. He gives max effort, he plays through the ball, and his exchange is clean. Tanner has a loose arm action, and he throws with accuracy and carry to his target. At the plate, Tanner has good balance, a proper load, and a short stride. He has fast bat speed, he makes square contact, and he explodes through the ball. Tanner is a solid young player and with work on the following, abilities can improve.
