10/25/2020 - All-In Membership - Stillwater (Minneapolis), MN Burch is a strong RHH 2-way player (C/3B) who excels with the bat. Offensively, he steps into the box with a purpose. He hands active hands and works smoothly back into a loaded position. Barrel delivery is quick as he connects and creates consistent/hard contact. Behind the dish, he sits in well and tracks pitches into a soft mitt with good pocket awareness. He takes good angles laterally and centers pitches in the dirt off of his chest. Transfer is clean with pop times still sitting in the 2.3 range. Working on quickening his transfer will help times to continue to drop. At 3B, he works well into a square/athletic fielding position and tracks GB's into his mitt. He gathers well and makes accurate throws across the diamond to 1B. Teagan has a solid all-around skill-set that should provide success in this his senior year.

06/16/2019 - College PREP - Glendale (Milwaukee), WI Teagan is a strong C/3B prospect who will graduate in 2021. Behind the plate, Teagan presents a good target to the pitcher and receives with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and works to keep his throws accurate to the 2B bag. Sitting in a more athletic stance can help Teagan improve as a C. At 3B, shows a good prep step and makes the routine plays. He makes a clean exchange and makes consistent throws with carry through his target. Teagan can improve as a 3B by fielding the ball out in front of his body. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and takes a square stride. He gets into his load and takes a level swing, driving the ball into the gaps. Working a smoother rhythm into his load can help Teagan improve as a hitter. Overall, Teagan is a solid prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
