11/06/2014 - Baseball Factory Select Training & Competition at Pirate City Teddy is a freshman RHP/OF that continues to improve. On the mound, his velo has now topped out at an all-time best, 79. He works with a good tempo, works fast and has a solid balance point. Teddy does a great job of working down and filling up the count with strikes. Decreasing his time to the plate from the stretch and maintaining even arm length will improve his abilities. As an OF'er, he is aggressive to the ball, gains momentum towards his target and delivers accurate throws. He will notice his abilities improve by following through on his throw and not drifting on fly balls. At the plate, he squares himself to the plate with a soft stride. He flashes some pop with his quick hands and intense focus at the plate. Teddy competes when he is up to bat and will notice improvement with continued development of strength and working on staying through the ball. Teddy is a great kid with good baseball instincts. He plays the game hard and has an extremely competitive personality.
