01/13/2017 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Teddy is an athletic/strong OF prospect. Defensively, he works lightly on the balls of his feet and covers a ton of ground with speed (6.95). He works behind and through the ball aggressively firing strong/accurate throws into his target. With the bat, this righty shows an athletic setup with centered balance. Quick hands fire the barrel on a level path as he barrels the ball up and sprays line-drives. Bridges is a talented athlete who possesses the tools that will play at a high level.

10/09/2016 - College PREP - Hoover (Birmingham), AL Teddy is a 2017 OF with an athletic frame (6'1", 165lbs). In the OF, Teddy has quick, efficient feet and is very agile as he gets behind the ball. He gets into a square, athletic position and presents his glove out front as he fields the ball with soft hands. He has a quick, clean exchange to throw from over top with loose arm action. He gains momentum on his throws which allows them to carry well and remain on-line to his target. At the plate, Teddy shows good power from the right side. He sets up in a square stance and takes a square stride to the ball. He is smooth and fluid getting back into his load and he leads with his lower half coming through the zone. He shows quick hands which leads to fast, explosive bats speed (87mph exit velo). His quick hands allow him to make hard, consistant contact and good power to his pull side. Teddy can improve as a hitter by taking a more direct swing path and by getting his stride foot down earlier to improve his timing. Overall, Teddy is a talented prospect who has the potential to contribute at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
