12/01/2019 - College PREP - Pensacola, FL Teddy is a strong C prospect who will graduate in 2021. Behind the plate, Teddy shows efficient footwork and covers up well when blocking. He sits in an athletic stance and receives with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and gets rid of the ball quickly, keeping his throws accurate and on-line to his target. Keeping from kicking back when blocking can help Teddy improve defensively. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance and works to barrel up the baseball, making solid contact. Teddy can improve as a hitter by working a smoother load into his swing. Overall, Teddy is a developing prospect who has the potential to further progress his skills on the field.

The Class Rating is designed to help players identify the level(s) of college baseball at which they have potential to be recruited, and to help schools and coaches identify players that have potential to be recruits for them.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
