04/07/2019 - Interactive Video Program - Billings, MT Terek is a young, lefty, 2-way player who plays 1B and LHP. Defensively, Terek has active feet, he covers ground, and centers it well. He has a good backhand, fields the slow roller well, and throws with momentum from a loose arm action to his target. On the mound, Terek keeps his eyes on target, he separates on time, and has good A/S run on his FB; competing in the zone. At the plate, Terek has an athletic set-up, some bat speed, and he hits hard to the pull side. He gets good extension through the ball and uses his lower body. Overall skills can continue to get better with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
