01/15/2021 - 2021 Baseball Factory Rookie Pre-Season All-America Tournament TJ Bradford continues to impress each time he hits the field. His performance at the Rookie Pre-Season All America event was no different. This 2025 grad played well above his age both defensively and at the plate. Smooth hands, clean transfers, plus footwork allow the shortstop to make every play on the field. Always seems to be in the right place at the right time. Baseball IQ is off the charts. Similar qualities offensively where he displayed tremendous plate discipline, reaching base safely 6 of 8 PAs (2 H, 3 BBs). Balanced and creates rhythm, short and compact through the ball and he will continue to develop above average power as he matures physically. Cannot say enough good things about TJ, big things ahead for this 2025 shortstop.

09/04/2020 - MS All-Region Tournament TJ is an athletic SS prospect who showed well during the All-Region Tournament. In the field, TJ shows fluid footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. He has a clean exchange and consistently makes on-line throws to his target. At the plate, this RHH sets up in an athletic stance with center balance. He is fluid getting into his load and hits against a strong front side. He takes a level swing with fast bat speed, leading to loud contact and line drives. Overall, TJ is a talented prospect who has the potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

12/10/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Nyack (NYC), NY Terrence is a young (2025 grad), 2-way player as a SS/OF. With the bat, this righty displays an open stance as he waits for a pitch he likes. Swing is level as he squares the ball up and hits it on a line. At SS, Bradford hustles to his right and left working into a square fielding position behind the GB. He works around the ball, gathers well and has a clean exchange to throw. In the OF, Terrence is aggressive to come and get the ball. He secures it with 2-hands and makes accurate throws to his target. Continuing to work on the following will help to improve his all-around skill-set on the diamond.

Offense
1. Front foot timing
2. Shorter/more direct swing path
3. Bat speed
Infield
1. Lateral quickness
2. Glove presentation
3. Arm strength (long toss)
Outfield
1. Routes/Angles
2. Play through the ball

03/11/2017 - Hitting Accelerated Training Weekend (Ages 12-14) At out Accelerated Training Weekend, Terence had a very good couple of days. He displayed solid hitting mechanics, was very balanced, showed he likes to use the whole field and improved his swing path while he was with us. Some things he still strives to improve are driving his lower 1/2 more through the ball and staying a little wider in his setup and swing process.

12/18/2016 - Interactive Video Program - Madison (NYC), NJ Terence is a 2-way player at the SS/OF position. In the infield, he fields Gb's with smooth hands. He shows plus GS awareness as he delivers accurate DP feeds. In the OF, he takes quick angles as he tracks down fly balls. He makes fluid, athletic actions as he makes accurate throws to his target. With the bat, Terence presents a quiet setup. He takes aggressive hacks through the zone as he drives pitches on a line. Overall abilities in his game will improve with work on the following.

Infield
1. More range
2. Play through
3. Arm strength
Outfield
1. Stay behind
2. Play through more
Offense
1. Bat speed
2. Develop power
3. Level swing path

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
