08/05/2019 - Baseball Factory Pro Select Training & Tournament at Pirate City (Ages 14-18) Terrell continues to shine on the baseball diamond. At SS, he displays clean / smooth actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork as he works to square ground balls up. Glove action is clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. Throws are accurate but will benefit to build more arm strength through a long toss program. At the plate, he continues to show as a switch hitter with similar abilities from both sides. Hands are loose and work through a level swing path. He makes consistent hard contact through a line drive approach with power showing best to the pull side. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

07/22/2018 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (Ages 12-14) Terrell is a coachable SS/OF prospect who made adjustments well during his time at the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, Terrell shows fluid footwork and is very agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields with soft hands. He makes a clean exchange and gains momentum well on his throws, keeping them consistently on-line to his target. Terrell can improve defensively by fielding the ball out in front of his body. At the plate, this switch hitter shows a solid swing from both sides. He sets up in an open stance and is smooth getting into his load. He works to barrel up the baseball and drive it up the middle. Terrell can improve as a hitter by driving his lower half more. With four more years to develop, Terrell has the time and potential to further progress his skills on the field.

03/11/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Bel Air (Baltimore), MD Terrell is a young, 2-way player who plays SS and OF. Defensively, Terrell has active feet, agile movements, and he keeps the ball in front of his body. He work the double play well, has a clean exchange, and throws with accuracy and consistency from a short arm action. In the OF, Terrell has fluid footwork to the ball, a good 1st step, and he works behind it well. He has a clean exchange with a solid crow hop when throwing to his target. At the plate, Terrell can switch hit. From the right side, he has a direct barrel to the ball, gets solid extension, and has pop to the pull side. From the left side, Terrell has good barrel accuracy and decent bat speed. Terrell can improve overall abilities with work on the following.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
