Official Scouting Report

01/16/2015 - Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Corad has athletic actions with electric speed. In the OF, he covers ground with ease working lightly on his feet. Transfer/exchange is quick/clean as he plays through and gains ground toward his target. With the bat, this RHH shows a balanced approach with rhythm in his hands. Plus barrel accuracy allows him to square the ball up consistently and put pressure on the defense with his speed out of the box and on the base paths. Terry is a talented player who has a bright future on the diamond.

07/30/2014 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 1 Terry continues to impress on the diamond. He tracks down balls in the OF with lightning quick speed. He plays through it fluidly and puts accurate balls into his target. He has athletic actions and can make the tough plays. With the bat, this RHH show a simple approach with good balance. He puts the barrel on the ball consistently and gets out of the box and down the line. He puts pressure on the defense with his speed and has the ability to swipe bags with ease. On the mound, Terry works downhill off of the rubber and keeps the ball down in the zone. He gets extension out over his front side and finishes complete. Conrad has skills and will make an impact with his speed.

06/21/2014 - Omaha National World Series - Session 2 Terry showed very well in his most recent outing with Baseball Factory. He ran his best sixty to date, posting a phenomenal 6.56. He patrolled the outfield with good body control and quick feet, and was sure handed to field. He took decent routes/angles and was very accurate to throw to his targets. As he continues to progress, he should work to become more efficient in his drill package/reps with his direction and routes. Offensively, he had decent rhythm and barrel accuracy to hit for contact. He was on-time and ran well out of the box. Leveling out his path and trusting his work as a table setter will increase hit ability. On the mound, he threw three pitches from the high 3/4 arm slot. He topped out at 75 with his FB, spun a 10/4 CB and mixed in a knuckleball. He was balanced and athletic through his delivery and competed as he did in everything else on the field. All in all - Terry showed very well in the tournament setting at the Omaha National World Series and will be a positive asset to a club at the next level.

03/16/2014 - College PREP - Bowie, MD Terry is a junior OF that ran a 6.86 sixty with his athletic, 5'9/155 lbs frame. Defensively, he utilized his speed and body control, working to and through balls with aggression. He was able to repeat and threw with fluidity to his target. Offensively, he got to a good launch with excellent balance and was direct with the barrel to contact. He Will benefit from rhythm drills - becoming more consistent and free with the barrel delivery. Overall - Terry is a promising player with good speed, and hit ability.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
