01/07/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament (AZ) Thaddeus-Jackson is a 2023 prospect out of Redlands, CA who is a 2-way player that plays 1B and RHP. Defensively, he has a presentable glove, a low fielding position, and makes plays consistently. He fields squarely, his exchange is clean, and he throws with accuracy and carry across the diamond. Added aggressiveness and playing more through the ball will help improve defensive skills. On the mound, Thaddeus-Jackson stands over the rubber well balanced, he keeps his eyes on target, and gets good pivot off his back foot. He has a controlled landing toward home, tries to work ahead in the count, and pitches to contact. If Thaddeus-Jackson can loosen his arm action, get more front arm extension, and finish better, mound effectiveness can improve. At the plate, Thaddeus-Jackson has a tall stance, good balance, and loads his hands back well. He has a short/consistent barrel, hits line drives, and uses his lower body. Hitting numbers will spike with added bat speed and work on rhythm/timing.
