02/06/2022 - All-In Membership - Pensacola, FL Thomas is a strong OF who will graduate in 2023. Defensively, Thomas has quick/active feet, agile range, and he fields athletically. He gets in a good ready position, gains ground, and throws with accuracy, momentum, and carry to his target. Continuing to add arm strength and catching the ball at its highest point will help solid defensive skills get even better. At the plate, Thomas has a crouched stance, good balance, and he swings in good rhythm. He has a smooth load, quick hands, and he hits line drives gap to gap. If Thomas can tap into more lower body, and work on barrel accuracy, hitting numbers will spike.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
