01/12/2024 - 2024 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Timothy showed as a prospect at the All-America Pre-Season Tournament. At the plate is where he shows best through a tall, closed setup. Hands are quick generating bat speed (86 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with plus power to all fields. Lower half works well through the swing as he transfers weight into a firm front side. At 1B, defensive abilities are well above average as displays smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are soft, sure and presents out front. Feet / hands work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. He moves well laterally and utilizes foot quickness (6.82 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. Timothy has a big upside and will get looks from the collegiate coaches with his baseball abilities.

12/03/2023 - National Showcase - Sacramento, CA Timothy is a LHH OF/1B prospect that continues to impress on the baseball diamond. In the OF, he moves quickly and has good range to all angles. He does a great job of getting behind the baseball and getting a good glove lane when fielding. He has a quick exchange and release and he makes accurate throws back into the outfield. He recorded a raw velo of 89 MPH, improving on his previous marks. At first, he does well pre-pitch to get in a ready position and he shows off quick feet with agile movements. He takes good angles to the baseball and he flashed a nice backhand. He has impressive awareness around the bag. His exchange is quick and he makes accurate throws with a plus arm. At the plate, he starts in a squared stance and gets a good load. He has a firm frontside with his lower half and allows his hips to explode through contact. His hands are quick and he shows off good bat speed. He finishes strong with his backside and makes hard, line-drive contact. He shows a ton of upside in the box and is definitely an athlete to keep an eye on as he continues to develop!

06/15/2023 - Omaha National World Series - Session 1 Timothy continues to show as a top prospect at the Omaha event. At the plate, he displays excellent hitting / power potential through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (87 mph exit velocity) generating bat speed to and through a short / direct / level swing path, creating extension. Barrel accuracy is a plus with baseball exploding off the bat when centered. Lower half works well through the swing with an aggressive hip turn. At 1B, defensive abilities are excellent as he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are firm and presents well out front. Throws are accurate with carry to his target. He utilizes his outstanding foot quickness in covering a lot of ground. Mental makeup is a plus as he has a positive attitude, works hard, and is very coachable.

04/30/2023 - National Showcase - Fairfield (Sacramento), CA Timothy is an athletic and gifted 1B/OF I the 2025 class. He recently impressed scouts with his actions in the field and at the plate. He possesses the necessary tools to compete at the next level; speed (6.79), power, (87 exit velo) and arm strength (84 velo). In the outfield, he shows active feet and is quick to the baseball. He has the understanding of staying behind the baseball and working threw it for momentum. He can redirect the ball back to the dirt with a quick exchange and displays the ability to stop the free 90 on the paths. At 1B, he shows similar athletic actions. Feet and glove are in sync with his body and he gains a low and athletic fielding position. Has bag awareness and demonstrates the trust factor on balls in the dirt. At the plate, he is balanced and his hands are explosive. He likes to swing with intent and contact is loud. Can use the whole field and production shows line drive power with potential for more. Overall, there is many things to like about Timothy’s game and scouts are eager to see his development at future BF events.

01/13/2023 - 2023 Baseball Factory Pre-Season All-America Tournament Timothy continues to show as a prospect with his baseball abilities at the Pre-season All American event. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active as he displays proper footwork around the bag and his a quality receiver. Hands are clean and presents out front. He utilizes his foot quickness (6.97 60 time) in covering a lot of ground. At the plate, he continues to shine through an athletic setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He stays inside the ball, utilizing all fields through a line drive approach. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently.

03/27/2022 - Official College Recruiting Membership - Sacramento, CA Timothy is an athletic 1B/LHP prospect who continues to showcase his skills on the diamond. In the field, Timothy shows active footwork and is agile moving to the ball. He gets into an athletic position and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground well on his throws, keeping them on-line to his target. At the plate, this LHH shows an advanced approach through a crouched setup. He is smooth to load and leads well with his lower half. He works through a direct swing and drives the ball from gap to gap. On the mound, Timothy gathers over the rubber and keeps his eyes on target. He works inline toward the plate and finishes with his chest square to his target. Timothy operates with a three pitch mix with his fastball topping out at 74mph with tailing action. Breaking ball sits from 56-57mph with 1-7 break. Changeup sits from 60-63mph. Overall, Timothy is a talented prospect who has the time and potential to further build upon his skills on the field.

01/14/2022 - 2022 Baseball Factory Pre-Season Prospects Tournament (HS) Timothy is a class of 2025 1B/LHP prospect. He shows off a physical frame and room to continue to develop athletically. On the mound, he shows decent mechanics. Works downhill and does a good job rotating towards the plate. Shows the ability to throw 2 pitches for strikes. Fastball works up to 68 MPH with some slight action. Also flashed a changeup in the 59-62 MPH range. At the plate, he showed the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field. Also consistently created hard contact with exit velos up to 68 MPH. In the field, he shows good pre-pitch actions and good footwork. Timothy is a talented player with room to continue to develop.

09/24/2021 - MS All-Region Tournament Timothy is a coachable 1B/LHP prospect who showcased his skills during the All Region Tournament. In the field, he shows active footwork with a quick first step. He showed ability to pick out hops and fields the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he gains ground to his target, making accurate throws to second base. Long tossing can help build up his arm strength. At the plate, he hits from a tall and even stance. He rotates his core through his swing and gets good extension through the ball. He sprayed the ball to all fields, with a bat exit velocity up to 73mph, and reached base numerous times during live game action. On the mound, he gathers over the rubber and works with a loose arm. He gets his chest over his front knee. With 5 years to continue to grow and develop, we foresee Timothy making huge strides on the baseball field.

07/22/2021 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City - Session 2 (MS) Timothy is a coachable 1B/LHP prospect who worked hard on his skills during the National World Series at Pirate City. In the field, he shows good agility and a good internal baseball clock. He tries to field the ball out in front of his body. His exchange is clean and he throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. Accurate throws to second base with an arm velocity of 68mph and good touch on his DP throws. Scooped all balls thrown his way. At the plate, he hits from an upright and open stance. Comfortable/relaxed hands, with a simple load, and ability to make hard contact. In live game action, Timothy had a double, 2 singles, and a base on balls with a bat exit velocity of 70mph. On the mound, he showed a confident demeanor and some feel for pitching. Timothy gathers over the rubber and works with a clean arm. 3 pitch mix with a FB that topped out at 66mph, a 2/8 shaped breaking ball, and a changeup he throws with FB arm speed and some tailing action. In 2 innings of live game action, he threw 63% of his pitches for strikes and recorded 3 punchouts. With five more years of growth and development, we foresee him having a bright future on the baseball field.

01/10/2021 - Official Player Development Membership - Stockton (Sacramento), CA Timothy is a lean 1B/LHP who has a promising future on the diamond. At 1B, he shows smooth / fluid actions. He displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Hands are clean but needs to present more out front. Range will increase as he improves foot quickness. At the plate he continues to shine through tall setup. Hands are quick and work through an aggressive swing path. He makes consistent contact through a line drive approach. Hitting grade will continue to improve as he works to get stride foot down sooner to be on time. Power will increase as he utilizes his lower half more efficiently. On the mound, delivery is sound / repeatable as he shows good tempo through a strong balance point, allowing his arm action to work quick and free to the plate. Fastball shows a range of 63-67 mph with arm side run. Breaking ball displays 1/7 shape with downward break. He maintains arm speed on his changeup with arm side run. Stock on the mound will continue to rise as he builds more arm strength through a long toss program. With 5 years to further develop, Timothy has potential with time and room to progress his game.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
