01/18/2013 - 2013 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Timothy is an athletically built 3B/RHP that will graduate this year. At third, he has good range and is agile with his footwork. His soft hands, clean/quick exchange and solid arm strength allow him to make plays deep at third. Offensively, the lefty has a square/athletic setup and is a line-drive/spray type hitter. He displays pull side pop and is fluid with his rhythm. Shortening his swing path and controlling his head movement will make him more consistent with hard contact. On the mound, Timothy throws three pitches for strikes with his fastball having run and topping off at 84 MPH. Overall, he projects well at third base and with the left handed bat could find himself hitting in the middle of the line-up at the next level.

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
