His throws were accurate and on-line to second base. Timothy is competitive kid who plays with good energy. At the plate, he hits from a tall and even stance with a high hand set. He showed a small/simple hand load with fluid timing to his swing. Hits into a firm front side with a compact swing. Hit line drives to all fields with a bat exit velocity up to 78mph. Behind the dish, Timothy shows good leadership skills and is always in the game. When throwing he has a clean exchange and makes accurate throws. When blocking, he needs to lead with his glove and control the ball with his chest. When receiving, he needs to continue to be in a balance primary stance, present a low/early target, and work behind the ball to catch it consistently in the pocket. At the plate, Timothy starts in an athletic stance and loads his hands back into the drive position. Hes aggressive on the fastball, he sees the ball deep, and he keeps the barrel on plane. Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
