12/27/2023 - Baseball Factory Recruiting Classic Timothy is a 2026 OF/RHP who showcased his talents at the BF Recruiting Classic. In the OF, he starts in an athletic position and has active feet. He fields from an athletic position with hands out front. He throws from a 3/4 arm slot and has accurate throws with a 83 mph raw velocity. On the mound, Timothy showcased 3 pitches. He has a FB that sits 77-78 mph that he was able to throw to both sides of the plate, a breaking ball with sharp break, and a CH that was 65-67 mph. During the game, he threw 3 innings allowing no runs. He was able to work in the bottom of the zone effectively and keep batters off balance with his off speed pitches At the plate, he has an tall stance, loose hands, and a small load. Timothy has a smooth swing path, good bat speed, and a strong core. In the games, Timothy picked up a double and 2 singles. With 2 years of growth, we foresee that Timothy will continue to grow as both a hitter and pitcher.

06/28/2023 - National Showcase - Albuquerque, NM Timothy is an OF prospect who will graduate in 2026. Medium frame athletic build with strength present. Ran his 60-yard dash in 7.15 seconds. In the OF he shows quick feet and ability to cover ground in all directions. Good 1st step reads enable him to create good angles as he works behind and through the ball. Adjusts to ball in flight with a 1-hand high catch. Clean transfer off of his left foot, with a long arm stroke in back, and throws from a high 3/4 arm slot. He creates momentum to his target as he made accurate and on-line throws into infield with an arm velocity up to 84mph. At the plate he hits from an athletic and upright stance. Athletic setup, with intent in swing, and ability to deliver the barrel. He hits into a firm front side and is centered at contact. He squared up balls to the pull side with a bat exit velocity up to 83mph during BP. With 3 years of continued growth and development, Timothy should have opportunities to play at the next level.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
