01/21/2018 - Interactive Video Program - Kapolei, HI Titan is a young, lefty, 2-way player who plays 1st base and LHP. Defensively, Titan has a good fielding base, he presents his glove well, and moves well around the bag. He keeps his eyes to the ball, gets rid of it quickly, and throws with a short arm action to his target. On the mound, Titan has okay delivery, he separates on time, and is around the zone with all of his pitches. At the plate, Titan has a square set-up, he swings in good rhythm, and hits hard to the pull side. Titan can improve skills by working on the following.

Defense
1. Play through ball
2. Quicken feet
3. Raise arm slot
Pitching
1. Loosen arm action
2. Finish
3. Direction
Offense
1. Lower body
2. Shorten swing
3. Balance

Tool Grade Scale

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
