03/16/2008 - College PREP - Costa Mesa (Los Angeles), CA TJ shows as a possible two-way player in the infield and outfield. He currently shows best in the outfield where he displays average ability. He takes proper routes in tracking down balls. We would like to see him work to get behind fly balls to play through with momentum to his target. He does need to get on a strict long program to build arm strength. At the plate, TJ displays loose hands and shows an aggressive approach. He will need some work on fundamentals to become a consistent hitter at the next level. His best tool is his age, a 2010 graduate, with time to polish up and further develop his tools. He needs to concentrate his defensive work in the outfield.
