07/26/2013 - Baseball Factory National World Series at Pirate City Toby is a young player who is still developing and improving. In the infield, he has a good fielding position and good hands. His throws are over the top which helps him be as accurate as he is. He can work on improving his ready position and pre-pitch routine, which will allow him to get lower in his fielding position. He can also work on footwork/footspeed, and working through the baseball towards his target. This will allow him to get more carry on his throws. At the plate, he has a tall stance and gets separation between his hands and front foot during his stride. Toby has good zone recognition and pitch selection and works the count. He can work on developing more of a load and getting more out of his lower half. He can also work to level out his bat path which will help with making more consistent contact. Overall, Toby is a player with upside as he continues to develop fundamentally and physically.
