01/17/2020 - 2020 Under Armour All-America Pre-Season Tournament Tommy continues to show as a top prospect on the diamond. At the plate is where he continues to show best through a squared / athletic setup. Hands are quick (93 mph exit velocity) and work through an aggressive approach. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields, and has strength in his swing with gap to gap pop. Barrel accuracy is tremendous as he drives the ball out of the yard on a consistent basis. At 3B, feet are aggressive as he works around balls and plays through with his body. Hands are soft / clean and he presents well out front. Range is a plus as he moves well laterally, covering a lot of ground. Throws are accurate with on line zip (87 mph velocity) across the diamond. Tommy has the makings of a top draft pick in 2021 draft.

09/28/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's Futures East Tommy is a strong CIF prospect who will graduate in 2021. In the field, Tommy shows smooth footwork and fields with soft hands. He plays through the ball well and makes strong throws across the diamond. At the plate, this RHH shows an advanced approach through an athletic setup. He takes aggressive hacks and drives the ball with authority. Overall, Tommy is a talented prospect who will be one to follow going into his junior season.

06/05/2019 - 2019 Under Armour Showcase: Baseball Factory's National Florida Tommy is a corner infielder who can swing it. At the plate, he has tremendous hitting abilities with pro level power. He has strong/centered balance with fluid rhythm to load. He takes an absolute hack, crushing the ball to the deep parts of the park (exit velocity = 100 mph). At 3B, he has plus lateral range for a big guy, working from the ground-up with smooth actions. Transfer is quick as he fires strong throws zipping (84 mph velocity) across the diamond. A projectable 3B, Tommy has a big upside with the makings of a solid draft pick in 2021.

01/21/2019 - National Tryout - Bradenton (Tampa), FL Tommy continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a tremendous future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At 3B, defensive abilities are now outstanding as he displays smooth / fluid actions. Feet are active in attacking ground balls and plays through with his body. Glove action is soft / sure and he presents well out front. He shows off his athletic abilities on his feeds of the double play. Throws are accurate with on line carry (86 mph velocity) across the diamond. At the plate, hitting are now outstanding with pro level power potential through an open setup. Hands are quick and work to and through an aggressive swing path. He works to stay inside the ball, utilizing all fields and has strength in his swing (100 mph exit velocity). Barrel accuracy is a plus with the baseball coming off the bat differently. With 2 years to further develop, Tommy has the makings of a special type player and should be a 2021 solid draft pick.

01/12/2018 - 2018 Baseball Factory All-America Pre-Season Rookie Tournament Tommy is an athletic and hardworking 20213B/1B prospect. At the hot corner, Tommy has an active prep step and presents a low/early glove. He creates angles to the ball and works from the ground up. Reading the pace of the play and a quick first step will allow Tommy to create more range to the ball. At the plate, Tommy starts in a tall stance and loads his hands back into the launch position. He has good rhythm in his body pre pitch and uses the whole field. Continuing to attack the inside part of the ball will allow him to get extension through contact. Tommy will continue to improve with experience and we hope to see his progress in the future.

09/27/2017 - Arizona Freshman Fall Classic Tommy continues to show improvements in his baseball abilities and has a promising future on the diamond. Foot speed has improved as he ran his best 60 time to date. At the plate is where he continues to show best through an athletic setup. Hands are quick (88 mph exit velocity) and work through a level swing path. He has strength in his swing and shows a feel for the barrel with gap-to-gap pop. The baseball comes off his bat differently when centered. At the event, he was 5 for 12 with a 2B. At 1B, he displays proper footwork around the bag and is a quality receiver. Glove action is clean and presents well out front. Range will increase as he continues to improve foot quickness. Hands / feet work well together as he gets rid of the baseball quickly. Throws are accurate, flashing carry and arm strength. Mental makeup is a plus as he is very coachable and a great team player. Tommy has a ton of potential and will get looks from the collegiate coaches as he continues to progress his game.

05/14/2017 - Interactive Video Program - Tampa, FL Tommy is a big 1B who can swing the bat. Defensively at 1B, feet are active as he works well around the bag. He has a clean/quick exchange and fires strong throws to his target. At the plate, this righty is a power hitter with an athletic setup. He rips his lower 1/2 through creating power and drives pitches with hard contact from gap to gap. Tommy is one of the best young hitters we have seen in the 2021 class, and he will be one to watch as he enters high school this fall.

Our main goals with the BF "10-70" Scouting Scale are to provide the player with a realistic evaluation of his "PRESENT" abilities (what he can do today), and to provide college coaches with information they can use to identify and/or compare potential recruits.

Tools are graded for all players and pitchers, regardless of age or graduation year. However, for High School players we use only grades 20-70 (grades 10-18 do not apply), while for Middle School players we use only grades 10-52 (grades 55-70 do not apply).
